About Cosmetic Acupuncture and the Acupuncture Facelift Option:

Cosmetic Acupuncture is the only healthy option for cosmetic improvements currently available to women. Though the procedure is not well known or publicized in the United States, it has been used for centuries in China by Emperors and the wealthy. The system that Lucas teaches and uses with patients is based upon her classwork, research, and clinical experience. It is very effective for minimizing or even erasing fine lines and wrinkles, lifting the chin, plumping the cheeks, reducing the depth of deeper lines resulting in a generally brighter, consistently smoother face. Cosmetic Acupuncture for the face increases the production of collagen and elastin, moisturizes the skin, and improves muscle tone which help prevent future aging and wrinkling. It slows the aging process!!

Although not visually as dramatic as a surgical procedure, Cosmetic Acupuncture actually has a much more dramatic overall effect, as she has seen a number of very healthy "side effects" occur. Besides the obvious visual changes, patients have reported improved digestion, better quality sleep, reduction of hot flashes, elimination of mild depression and anxiety, improved energy, and an overall sense of well-being. With Cosmetic Acupuncture, the patient is actually getting younger from the inside-out because the treatment addresses the causes of aging according to the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. . .it's more than skin deep. And, there are none of the potentially negative side effects that are a part of plastic surgery, BOTOX® Cosmetic injections, derma abrasion and all the other modern medicine cosmetic treatments.

In a world that bombards the body with stimuli, toxins, and the quick fix, Cosmetic Acupuncture to the contrary, provides a person with a beautiful way to get in touch with her innate beauty. Watching this type of blossoming is a great experience for the practitioner as well as for the patient. In contrast, while surgical plastic surgery can do wonderful things and create dramatic results, it changes the texture and fabric of who we are as well as assaulting the health of our bodies.

Besides the needling part of the procedure, Lucas also educates patients about skin care, nutrition, and supplements that help the patient get and maintain the best results possible. Herbal formulas are also recommended. The procedure involves a minimum of ten treatments that can be scheduled twice a week for five weeks, three times a week for three weeks, or in a two-day-on with one-day-off type schedule. Cosmetic Acupuncture for the abdomen is also available and is especially appropriate for women who are trying to lose weight and inches.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a registered trademark of Allergan, Inc.
